These tests are submitted voluntarily by organizations who have obtained a demonstrator Biomist SS-20 and tested the unit internally to their own standards and objectives.
In some cases, we have been asked to omit specific information about the testing location for legal or trade protection. Data represent expert and non-expert test results performed on-site using controlled and uncontrolled methods.These examples demonstrate the effectiveness of Biomist in an environment where user induced variation is present. The key test of any product is how effective it is for the customer's application, not a controlled laboratory test. The ability to overcome gaps in traditional sanitizing methods is what makes the Biomist so effective. Any user making a reasonable effort to point and pull the Biomist applicator trigger can easily exceed the cleaning effectiveness of the most meticulous person using traditional methods. In addition to being more effective, the Biomist system is more efficient in labor and material utilization, this is the result using the right machine and material to do the job.
The Biomist SS-20 system or relevant components of it have been tested by Underwriters Laboratories, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Food and Drug Administration. This is the legal basis of making specific claims to kill specific pathogens. We have our test data on file and it is available on request.

Objective: Test 60% Alcohol and Biomist Formula D2. Kill E. Coli for more than 7 hours without impacting product ability to be a culturing meduim for bacteria.
Result: 60% Alcohol alone not effective against E. Coli after 7 hours, Biomist D2 effective after 7 hours and also effective in reducing product ability as a culturing medium.
